  Remote Camera

I have recently implemented a wireless remote camera for mindstorms. I purchased the camera unit from ebay at a cost of £13 including postage to the UK. I then built a lego casing for it and connected it's power supply to a lego electrical (...) (22 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  One last Robolab comment

I think I've done about as much commenting about Robolab as is allowed by any one individual so after this post I promise I'll be quiet. First off, I got a very nice email from Dr Chris Rogers in which he explained some things about Robolab to me (...) (21 years ago, 19-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Ahh...I shouldn't add comments to anything before my first green tea of the morning. I moved line 56 back to public: and went to line 81 and found private: was already there... 81 private: 82 class Chunk 83 { 84 public: 85 86 const UByte* GetData() (...)   Re: NQC release

(...) Can you try adding "private:" directly above the declaration of the nested type Chunk in RCX_Image.h? I'd like to confirm that that change fixes the problem. If any more compile errors (or warnings) show up let me know here or via email. (...) (21 years ago, 16-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: Proximity Sensors for Legway

Hi Henrik Thanks for the pointers.... I've got it working a lot better than in the video now but have a way to go to get as good as Steve's. I'll try and get the video's updated in the next couple of days. I'm keen to hear what you and Steve make (...) (22 years ago, 10-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Robolab as a tool for teaching programming

I would agree, but it was you who said "Programming with Robolab is much like creating a flow-chart" and "if you really want to know where spaghetti code comes from, we should talk to those who think flow-charting is a waste of time" here: (...)   Re: FLL not allowing NQC; Mindscript is allowed

(...) Just to clarify, your sample program is not really equivalent to the two NQC programs I posted. In my two samples I used two tasks and a global variable. Your sample would need to use a container and a task split to truly be equivalent. (...) (...) (21 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

All, I've been folllowing this thread with a lot of interest, and as the author of pbForth - yet another Mindstorms programming language I'd like to weigh in on this subject.   Re: More Speed? Re: Mindstorms 3.0 Wish List

(...) Still, no one's been able to convince me that the RCX needs more speed or memory. I can see the desire to map a room, but given the building materials, I think very few, if any, builders would be able to even build a LEGO robot that can (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics)
