Ain't true, Mike. I've been an ardent follower of your homebrew sensors site
since its inception.
Your ideas and projects are wonderful but I can suggest a few reasons why some
people may be put off:
a. the circuit diagrams look formidable
b. the maths look tough
c. VB code is a foreign language to many
d. the components are not easy to obtain
e. not everyone can wield a soldering iron
For me, getting the components to build the sensors is the biggest problem.
Since many people have commented that my RCX Controlled Air Compressor Tester
is rather low on technology :-( I've been eyeing your angle sensor and
especially the pressure sensor to see if it could improve the pump tester. The
Monkey grip device would come in handy too. But the components are not
obtainable where I come from. We did have a KMart once but it closed after a
while.
Now if you could consider fabricating the angle sensor and the pressure sensor
and include a Monkey grip, I would reimburse you the full costs and shipping
plus your trouble. That would be a great help, indeed :-)
Cheers
