Congrats for making *THE* LegWay :) ...a much talked theoretically possible
project, but you done it :)
Question: Your solution only works on perfectly horizontal surfaces, right ?
What happens if you put a inclined surface in front of the LegWay ? From
what I understand, it will fall, because it'll be confused and take the
proximity of the inclined ground in front of it as beeing itself inclined,
tending to counter that, falling flat on it's "back".
...am I right ?
mc.
PS: IMHO one cool idea for another video whould be you pushing the brick
with your finger, seeing the brick try to stay upright :) eh

| (...) Thanks (...) hmm. no. A couple people have asked this question. Actually, I've put it on a table, and lifted one side of the table. LegWay will tilt, to correct for the angle. (while it rolls down the hill!) It constantly checks the distance (...) (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) I'll see about putting something on the web site in the next few days. The code is BrickOS. (...) I'm pretty sure the LEGO light sensor does not have the resolution to make it work. Steve (22 years ago, 16-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics)
