Thanks for all the tips, everybody. I set out last night to
open up my light sensor and add a jumper to allow me to take
the LED out of the circuit. I was unsuccessful in getting the
casing open, even after cutting the underside latching tabs away
completely. I saw someone mentioned that there's a bit of glue on
the inside holding it together. Have tips on cracking this baby
open without destroying it?
Someone else mentioned that LegOS is able to read the light
sensor 'passively' without illuminating the LED. Any LegOS
folks here know what they do differently?
I keep seeing references to Gasperi's web page as having a
schematic of the lego Light Sensor, which would be helpful,
but I haven't found it on his site yet (too much great stuff
to dig through). If anyone has a direct URL to the sensor
schematic, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks again everyone.
