'not possible'? I have to disagree there :-)
We (my kids and I) have been using rechargeable cells for Cybermaster, with no
obvious problems.
The brand is: "VARTA Rechargeable AccuPlus" Ni-MH, #5506
Perhaps we have not stressed the CM, but as I said: No obvious problems.

| Hi I used a normal 9V battery instead of the six 1.5V ("six pack") and that works well if you hook up the 9V connection well. However, my radio tower does something but my cybermaster does not respond (no flashing of led when tower led flashes). So, (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.robotics)
