I don't have a CyberMaster, but rechargeables work fine in my Scout and my
RCX.
My favorite battery is lithium hydride (LiH). They are quite expensive but
they last longer and do not have the memory effect of ni-cads.

| Hi I used a normal 9V battery instead of the six 1.5V ("six pack") and that works well if you hook up the 9V connection well. However, my radio tower does something but my cybermaster does not respond (no flashing of led when tower led flashes). So, (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.robotics)
