It's just a fact that that image IS associated with their product!

I'm trying to put some original thought into my icons. Something like a
pencil, or a rocket ship, or a pencil that turns into a rocket ship, that
looks vaguely like a brick, if you look at it closely, so that you remember
it's something to do with Lego, but not the same thing....
My other un-original idea was James Jessiman's pyramid model---which I am
looking at way more than any other image because it's a test
pattern---pasted onto a standard type of generic document icon. It took
about 5 minutes. Which is a good indicator that it can't be very original.

Speaking of icons, if you see 'O Brother, Where Art Thou' watch the little
corner dingbats during the opening credits. The Cohn brothers snuck in a
modern toilet for one of them.
