Re: Lego Maniac's Webring and Yahoo

(...) Oops, looks like I misspoke(wrote). I just went back to the USPTO search page (URL) searched again with the "Registered" radio button selected (instead of "Both") and it didn't show up there, but showed up under "Pending." Thus, it appears (...) (25 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.publish)

To the extent that that e-mail forms a contract (which is relatively weak), and that e-mail has no specific provisions for review or renewal, I suspect you could continue using "webring" for the site(s)/system(s) described in that e-mail (...)   Re: Lego Maniac's Webring and Yahoo

(...) Do you still have that e-mail? That would be a good thing. "Web ring" is an extremely descriptive mark, and if you realllly wanted to go to court, you might be able to argue fair use. But I certainly don't think it's worth that! (25 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.publish)

(...) BTW, if you replaced <form method=GET action=/cgi-bin/poll.cgi> with <form method=POST action=/cgi-bin/poll.cgi> then if someone hit the Reload button it would ask them if they wanted to repost the form.   Re: Lego Maniac's Webring and Yahoo

(...) The latter. It certainly would be neat to have LUGNET do and be everything possibly (1) LEGO related. But I fear for dilution of focus and for Todd's sanity (2).   LEGO Studios camera?

I guess the LEGO Studios movie maker <set:1349> is shipping October 1st according to S@H. Does anyone know if the camera is the same as in the Vision Command set?   Why Yahoo is bad (Was: Lego Maniac's Webring and Yahoo)

Well, why don´t you raytrace the models? Use POV-Ray or try Lightwave for it. For use Lightwave, you need a converter to convert from *.DAT to *.LWO.
