  Re: Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf

Why is it that the good Reverend has everyone of his folders moderated? Rev's gallery: (URL) must have come up on the random hit list and is pretty high up the host hits ladder. Some 'celebrities' have had all their folders cleared within days of (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf

(...) Oh really? I didn't notice a need for every posting to be reviewed before being posted. Now everything, including stuff that has been viewed thousands of times before, is now under scutiny and with just the vaguest of idea of what is and what (...)   Re: Geekshelf Question - Vehicle Question

(...) You will want to revisit that strategy, I think. You should always have backups of things that you consider important, and not rely on external facilities to keep them safe. Brickshelf has never ever promised that your images were backed up, (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf

(...) This is true, but misses the point. All that is being asked for by me is some more concrete understanding of what to approve, and what not to, and what to do with things that are questionable. (23 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf

(...) you're allowed to have your opinion, but I think Kevin did exactly what he should have done. But tell me this - why is the moderation so rotten? Because you can't view your pictures in the recent folders? Or people can't view your "folder"? (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

  Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf

Due to the recent events on Brickshelf, I have decided to permanently withdraw my Brickshelf gallery postings and I will be removing the links from my web site. My reason for this are as follows: 1. While Kevin Loch may OWN Bickshelf, the content is (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish) !!

  Some Questions...

Can somebody show me an example of a 1.3 megapixel picture? Is 1.3 MP acceptable? Does less resolution = less quality? Does anybody have, or have used an Argus 1.3 megapixel DC3200 digicam? If so, can you review it? Thanks for your time, -JHK (23 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  2 Brickshelf Questions

Hi Kevin et. al. 2 quick Brickeshelf-related questions: (1) I notice that the counters aren't increasing anymore - is that something that is going to be reinstated once all of the folders are cleared? (2) Is there any way to change one's password? (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)
