   Richie-

Thanks for the comments.  I'm just waiting for the next incarnation
of the Famous Mister Snottler to appear--they've been getting to be
quite amazing, and given the extreme flare of the bows on those types
of warships I'm looking forward to what you come up with.  (Although
more Port Brique buildings are an acceptable substitute for now--
that waterfront is truly beautiful in its design and construction.)
It's the people in .pirates and .military who keep pushing me along,
   after all!

(One of my favourite details are your spoked wheel drums. I've already built
a few - it's always good to find new uses for common (and seldom used parts).

The real annoyance of those is that they're not 2x2 when stood up--
they're 2.1x2.1 or some other inconvenient size.  Argh!  But they
sure do *look* nice, I agree.  I used them on the back of my T-34
   tank as well.

   best

(...) Truly magnificent, Lindsay. The LEGO scaling is amazing, the attention to detail superb. (One of my favourite details are your spoked wheel drums.
