  Re: Question... very newbie.

Hi Dwayne and welcome to Lugnet. Of course I don't pay any attention to clones at all :-) but if I did, I would suggest you peruse the ot.clones group. I think you may be interested in work being done by people like Dave! (Schuler, that is.) HTH, (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Question... very newbie.

First off, let me put on my flame proof suit... somehow I think I am going to need it.... *zips up the last zipper* Ok, I have seen loads of posts decrying Lego Clones as bad things.   Re: News authentication

(...) You're welcome. I've been building mostly space recently, but my focus varies widely depending on my mood. Your Xizor-like is very neat looking.   Re: News authentication

(...) right? Well, I actually don't build anything else than spacish things, so I hope to see you and the other fellows there very soon.   Re: News authentication

(...) The only way to get around the authentication would be to get a Lugnet membership and post through the web interface. The authentication was put into place when somebody decided to impersonate another user and post through the newsgroup, (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

Re: Your folks were so helpful... going to try again

I (...) Happens to the best of us... been on usenet long enought to have done it all, myself. (...) *blush* I was assuming it was along the lines of other toy dragon flames I have seen.   Re: Your folks were so helpful... going to try again

(...) Ack! I just wrote a nice post in reply here and I accidentally deleted it. Woops! Anyway, it went something like this: When dragon flames are too big for torches, I do this: Take a space gun (black or brown work nice) and turn it barrel up. (...)   Your folks were so helpful... going to try again

Ok, new question. I am attempting to find two things, 1: Some form of Lego Torch, or campfire flame. 2: Place to buy a couple of dozen. Now, I dont have one to look at to see about a part number, and my searching so far online has been fruitless. I (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

Question on where best to post...

I have a question about the direction that the development of LDraw and its decendants are going... What forum would get me the best chance of answer? Thanks, Dwayne Miller Barberton, Ohio USA (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Newbie #1850

Hi LUGNETers! I've been lurking around LUGNET for a year or so, but a few weeks ago I felt the urge to join, so here I am!   Re: Help: Can I change the subject after posting?

(...) You can not change a message once it has been posted, but you can (if you know how to get your newsreader to do it) post a message that supercedes the message with the misspelling. Play well, Jacob -- Jacob's LEGO: (URL) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: Hello all!

That pillar was a result of realizing the 5/6 ratio. I intend to build a large skyscraper using that as a main support.
