First off, let me put on my flame proof suit... somehow I think I am going to
need it....
*zips up the last zipper*
Ok, I have seen loads of posts decrying Lego Clones as bad things.
I have never found, offical part files for Non-Lego parts of any sort.
Now, what is the rational behind this?
I see a couple of possibities, if any of these fit, please let me know, if none
fit, let me know what track is right.
1: Lego itself supports, (or at least does nothing to inhibit) this project and
would withdraw such support, if Clone brand parts were made offical.
2: Its simply brand loyalty that prevents Lego Clone parts from being made
offical.
3: There are enough Lego offical parts to keep this project busy for a LONG
time to come, so instead of getting distracted by clone brands, they stick to
just offical Lego stuff.
Ok, I will keep my flame proof suit on for a while...
Thanks,

| Hi Dwayne and welcome to Lugnet. Of course I don't pay any attention to clones at all :-) but if I did, I would suggest you peruse the ot.clones group. I think you may be interested in work being done by people like Dave! (Schuler, that is.) HTH, (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jan-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)
