This is dumb. I mean realy dumb.
Let's have a play by play of the main thread.
John posts a gallery he thinks is cool. Stefan notes this has been said before.
Ross notes that John was the one who said it. Larry posts a somewhat reactionary
replay noting that Ross's post might be viewed as mocking. Ross replys assuring
that it is not, how ever he expresses some annoyence at the end. Larry replys
thanking him for the conformation, but decides to have the last word by
restating his case for viewing that as a possiblity. Rob posts a reply that is
both jovial and confrontational noting at the end that he would prefer to see
the fun side of this. Larry replys and addmits his faults frankly in the same
joking tone.
As far as I can tell the thread has reached a satisfactory conclusion.
Larry knows that Ross didn't mean it that way and Ross knows that Larry is aware
of his tendency to be a bit blunt and reactionary.
Every thing else including Kevin's chiming in about what he thought the tone
meant, our disscusion of the possible definitions of "fuss", and the proceding
argument about Larry's conduct are completely extraneous.
If I offended any one in this post or missed any thing important plaese just
tell me and don't try to engage me in a verbal fencing match.
