Here are a couple of 'work in progress' pictures of the Easter Egg Hunt arena: (URL) black top has curled a bit, but we'll tape it down before using it. The holes will have white tape around them (I think you said in a previous posting), so if there are robots that may fall into the holes, they could detect the edge of the circle before falling in (they'll need to in order to deposit the egg, (...) I think a larger arena makes sense, so that it doesn't get too crowded. What size will the holes in the corners of the table be? How far away from the walls will the center of each hole be? Is the arena open to anyone that brings an egg-gathering robot? My son and I haven't been to any of the meetings (but we have participated in the robot challenge last year and have been to many of your other public events) and we may put together a (...)
