Although the pics are very yellowed, I could make out enough to say that I'm
not particularly impressed with your moc.

I have a cheap digital camra and have not figgured out how to get a pic
without the yellowing.  I was thinking about trying to take the pics outside
on the next one.

heh, seems that a lot of folks have that problem, i have some photos waiting
to be converted to disk, but they're horribly dark and grainy (yet focused
well oddly enough) so I'm holding back on them.

It really depends on what you were going for, unfortuantely you didn't give
enough information to determine if you actually built this moc well.

Does my motivation change the quality or look of the model?

well, that depends, did you just want to stick some bricks and elements
together and see if anyone thought the end result was cool...or did you have
some semblence of a plan...like, so its a fighter so it needs guns, ok...

For instance, if this is a fighter plane, is their a particular reason why
it lacks a canopy?

I'm not sure what you are saying here, could you explain?

yah, see, sometimes I don't actually click on the thumbnails to get a closer
look at people's mocs.  My 56k modem kills me every time I try to load an
image with it.  So, I went back to see why you were confused, and after
clicking on a thumbnail I saw....canopies!!!  So, sorry, I goofed here, my
bad...

Just a bit more info on what you actually intended for this moc and it would
be easier to determine if it was done well.

What kind of info should be added to the post?

Never mind.

See, the thing is, I just don't like it.

I tried to be constructively critical and I fell flat on my face.  So, never
mind.  Everyone else seems to like it, so just ignore me, I think i might
just keep my mouth shut.

Anyway, thanks for looking.

Shawn

(...) <snip> Lighting, that is the source of the problem. Even with my Kodak Camera that has a flash, I face the same issue. You may also want to put in back lighting too so you won't end up with too many shadows. Jude FUT lugnet.publish.photography (...) (...) It's cool that you didn't like it, and buy all means fell free to say so. I was just trying to "get" where you were coming from. Shawn (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)
