  Posting on RichLUG Site

Just wanted to mention that I test drove the message board over on the new RichLUG website. I wrote up some of my ideas about what I'd like to see in a local LUG and events. I won't bother to repeat it here. Head over to the site and check it out (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)

  Activities/Interests?

So, what interests do we have represented in the group? My favorite themes are Classic Space ('77-80), Castle, Pirate and Star Wars. I missed out on all the great Castle and Pirate sets the first time around during my dark age, but am slowly (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)

(...) I agree with Mike - I have relatives in Raleigh I visit fairly often and the trek from Richmond to there is definitely doable in approximately 3 hours. G. (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)

  Re: Meeting Time and Place

Right now, the 31st would work for me. I agree with Tim though that it would definitely need to be 7 p.m. or later (work's been keeping me busy lately). I like the idea of meeting at the Library if that can be arranged. Using the library was one of (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)

  Meeting Time and Place

HI Everyone I just wanted to confirm a time andplace for a meeting. I do thank Tim for his input about the library and I think that would be a great place to meet.   Re: Welcome!

(...) Well, it depends on where in Richmond, and what time of day, but I usually make it in 2.5-3 hours. Of course if one tries to go _through_ Richmond at rush hour on I-95, you can add a good 15-30 minutes. (24 years ago, 16-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)
