  Re: Welcome!

(...) I agree with Mike - I have relatives in Raleigh I visit fairly often and the trek from Richmond to there is definitely doable in approximately 3 hours. G. (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)

  Re: Meeting Time and Place

Right now, the 31st would work for me. I agree with Tim though that it would definitely need to be 7 p.m. or later (work's been keeping me busy lately). I like the idea of meeting at the Library if that can be arranged. Using the library was one of (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)

  Meeting Time and Place

HI Everyone I just wanted to confirm a time andplace for a meeting. I do thank Tim for his input about the library and I think that would be a great place to meet. I just wanted to see if Jan. 31st for our first meeting would be good. It could be at (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)

(...) Sweeeeet. Glad there's a LUG in Richmond now ... I went to Brickfest 2000 up in DC (wamalug organized it), but boy do I HATE driving to DC! Can't wait for the first meeting... Chris Busse (URL) (24 years ago, 16-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)

  Re: Welcome!

(...) Well, it depends on where in Richmond, and what time of day, but I usually make it in 2.5-3 hours. Of course if one tries to go _through_ Richmond at rush hour on I-95, you can add a good 15-30 minutes. (24 years ago, 16-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.richlug)

(...) John reporting in! Hi, Great to hear about a LUG in our area. Wamalug is great, but difficult for me to get to on a regular basis. I'm excited about being a part of a local group. Thanks for the support Greg. I wouldn't have started this if I had not spoken to you a few monthes ago. I wasn't aware of how many of us there were here.   Welcome!

Hi folks! It's great to hear a LUG is starting in Richmond. Richmond is a feasible day trip from Raleigh (NC), so you might see me if you have any Saturday get togethers.
