I know the meeting is over, but: (...) Bite your tongue, man! It's barbecue. Unbeleiveably good barbecue. Pretty much the best I've had outside Texas. (...) Where is this place? I must be blind! (...) Marcellino's. I've been there several times, (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Pics from 4/15/2000 [informal] meeting in Waltham

Hi guys! I had a great time today! We went to TCS then 'cross the street to the Bison County, and later over to Lizzy's for some fabulous ice cream... I've got a few pics that I took at Lizzy's... but I'm in a bit of a bind right now-- I'm going to (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

Re: Meeting at The Construction Site

(...) Sorry I didn't reply earlier. My phone line has been down for the last day and a half. (...) Correct there are no offical meetings at TCS this meeting actually has nothing to do with NELUG accept some members will be there. My view is that (...)   Re: Meeting at The Construction Site

(...) Absolutely! The subject line "Meeting at The Construction Site" really means "we're [informally] meeting at..." rather than "there will be a meeting at..." There might be an official or semi-official NELUG meeting per se afterwards (Eric?) but (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting at The Construction Site

Is this meeting open to prospective NELUG members? I just emerged from my "dark age" last summer and would like to meet some other AFOL's and find out what NELUG is all about. I can be at TCS at 2PM and hang around for a few hours to meet y'all. (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting at The Construction Site

(...) Sure, why not. I'm bringing my E-43 transport, a rocket launcher vehicle, small fire truck, and TSF-1 (I think...) BT-2 marked Zacktron model. They all fit collapsed into a small rubbermaid. Just whenever I pack Lego on planes (both carry-on (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting at The Construction Site

Hi all! I was wondering if there would be any interest in me bringing my inn (1) to TCS for the meeting. If so, great; but if not, I'd best not bring it - 'specially if we walk to a restaurant later... :-) So if you want me to bring it, LMK and I'll (...)   Ride from TCS to Gordon College

Hey.. Regarding our get together Saturday, I'm still in need of a ride from The Construction Site to Gordon College in Wenham when the festivities are done. Gordon is 45mins north of TCS. Could anyone (who can stay longer than Eric K) take me? I'd (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting at The Construction Site

Hello Everyone, I'm gonna try to make it out on saturday too since I have not met any of you yet. I've been in boston for 8 months now and still haven't managed to make it to any lego-related event. Anyways, is everyone still meeting at the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting at The Construction Site

(...) I don't know where we're going to 'spill over' to... my house (1) is definitely too small to host people, not to mention my sis is visiting from Israel so it's even more crowded.   Re: Meeting at The Construction Site

(...) I'd like to come and meet y'all, but I want to minimise my exposure to The COnstruction Site, as my budget took a beating earlier this month as it is. :D About how long are you planning on being there, do you think?
