(...) My-Life: update... The CD itself says "GPS Bluetooth V1.1". There is nothing in any of the programs to suggest a manufacturer. I can't get any of the programs that came with it to work. They all come up, and appear to function, but don't read (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Bluetooth GPS

Steve, Have you popped in the CD that came with it? Maybe something in there will at least give us a shot at figuring out what GPS chipset it is using. I'd be interested in knowing the specs for it. John (20 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

I thought the ascii-art would be understandable, but I've made a picture with the dimensions and starting configuration for the drag-racing arena that you can find here: (URL) that helps. Don't worry too much about the details. You can even bring (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

Hi Ben, Looking forward to hearing about CES. I'm not sure if you got David post before or after you made your post. I just saw your post even though it looks like it was time-stamped a few days ago. Not sure what's going on. Anyway, here is my (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

I could use some clarification on the track material and layout. I've been using the paper track that comes with the mindstorm kit to practice and just realized the line is 1" wide. It sounds like you are going to use a 3/4" line instead. Is this (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

(...) I'm interested in a BlueTooth GPS as well. If you don't want it, you can send it my way. Since you didn't order it. On the very off chance that you actually want to keep it, perhaps you could let us know what model it is, and how good it (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

(...) One week left to build your most amazing drag racing robots! I've had a couple of questions about the arena and event which I'll answer here. First of all, the arena will be made out of separate boards that are painted white. This means that (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  Bluetooth GPS

Ok, so I've been searching the web for a Bluetooth GPS. But, I really don't think I ordered one. Heck, I'm getting old. Maybe I forgot. So, I checked my mail, and in the back of my mail box, there's a plain white box. No address or any markings. I (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: 3T Practice Session

Glad you could make it. It was nice to see another working robot, and if I wasn't so stuck on using my giant arm, I would probably try to build a gantry system like the rest of you since it seems to work better (or at least faster). Its always nice (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!! (My Last WIP)
