  Re: Future GBCs

(...) (OK, I've got to say my first impression was of an octopus on LSD, but actually after looking at it a bit that's a good diagram for this stuff. Thanks, John!). (...) Also, it means that RCX #2 is completely independant of RCX #3, meaning each (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Future GBCs

(...) Things were not looking good when Payton first touched the ball and the score was 10-0... But, it all worked out in the end. (...) Yes, this will work. It looks like a good way to divide the tasks between RCXs. We can NOT connect 1 light (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Future GBCs

Since I couldn't build tonight because I don't have a tv to watch the colts at my lego table, I worked on trying to figure out how to reduce the number of RCXs we need to control 2 GBC loading & unloading spurs. I came up with this (when it goes (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: Anyone working on monorail tracks?

(...) Ooh. Well, that might be fun to model, in any case! (...) Do you have a scanner? If you do, you could scan it and send me the digital file - that would actually be better than an oblique photograph. I can then import the image file into (...)   Re: line follower?

(...) If it's any help, my first line-following event (NEIRG, with up to 135° sharp turns) I resolved to start from scratch and "be original". By event day, I ended up with Ben Hur's little brother quite unintentionally. But it worked. (...) Yes, (...) (21 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, FTX)

  Re: Identify a zig

(...) Actually, the sensors are a pretty flat V. But, how can you tell if (A) you passed a zig in the road or (B) you passed a somewhat sharp turn? Steve (21 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: line follower?

(...) Gee - funny you should ask :) Since none of my ideas were going to look real original any more after playing around at your house last weekend, I resolved to make the rack & pinion approach work better.   Re: Identify a zig

(...) consider it a favour returned from my DCC post. as to your problem... blow off your straigh line of 7 sensors, and instead, angle them to make a V then look for center point of V and most others on one side to "fire" Chris (21 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)
