hello,

because my sensor is positioned about 10cm from the ground, I need to sense
obstacles above the line of the sensor.

this sensor seems to have a big cone than standard ultrasonic:

but I don't know how to interface it with the rcx

maybe you, or someone else can help me?

thank you
Cristian

ciao,

Please excuse my English language response.

Most ultrasonic sensors try to achieve a narrow cone to avoid off axis
detections. Most of the time, this is a good thing, but I think that your
application may be the exception to the norm.
