well, maybe the pipe racer game as dumbed down.... that's like sumo on a pipe.
BUT calling the rice game a bastardized version of sumo is like saying that calum is
not chinese
the rice game is a completely new and original game.
no other event ~E V E R~ has utilized such a medium as rice. rice was chosen
because its small and can easily gum up gears. the rice game is classic industrial
processing. not sumo.
sure in your little world sumo is about control of the ring, but really its NOT.
its about moving mass. PERIOD!
the rice game is about many things. object retrieval, in unfriendly medium, its
about object placement, its about object sorting. not to mention the moving of the
"bad blocks" out of your area.
control of the pit in a very limiting way of describing this event.
