Re: What are people doing for train5?

(...) That's actually been a real PITA for me-the EluraCar spec. Everything looks too tall because of it. Because this is a siding, I'm not going much beyond 10-12 bricks tall to maintain the proper aspect ratio. I'm also going to borrow a Sony (...)   Re: What are people doing for train5?

(...) I tried a couple of scales, but I since the clearance over the track is so high, I went for this one, since it doesn't look too out-of-sorts. I was aiming for a liver-and-tan colour scheme, which works fine in Real Life, but rendered a little (...) (21 years ago, 10-Apr-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: This is how I waste my time...

(...) naw, don't bother. I own one of those motors. (and the more modern 9v equivalent) I always gram them first when i start a new project in the vain hope that they can be used. the closest I came was in Project X. the motor became the basis for (...) (...) smaller (33% smaller) than this rendering, primarily because I don't want it overshadowing the train station right next door and I don't have the width to the road to handle anything larger.   Re: This is how I waste my time...

(...) At least it's an electric motor--could possibly be incorporated into a robot like device sometime in the future... Dave K (21 years ago, 10-Apr-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: This is how I waste my time...

(...) You know, I looked at all your pictures and I had two thoughts: 1. You're right...waste of time. 2. Given that you seem to be mostly a train guy (from your recent posts) I was surprised that you could actually put that set together, even with (...)   Re: What are people doing for train5?

(...) Most frightening of all (other than the fact you built and rendered that in less than a day) is that that's pretty close to what I had pictured, other than colour choices. Great, now I don't even have the build the thing. :) Calum (22 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Hi. I opened up a 4107 Creator tub I just purchased. I was going to see if I could buy it from Angelo, but he says he can't get them currently.
