  Re: Anyone building with LEGO?

But I also posted some pics of my LEGO clock(s) here: (URL) designing a fire station and may do the time lapse thing that Calum did once. I'll see how it (...)   Re: rtl11 Decision

vote for three tables, one flag. Much easier to score. IIRC, the discussion we had at Mel's when this whole flag thing came up went something like this: - Let's build a JunkYardWars bridge building bot. - Nah, too boring. - OK, then let's make each (...)   Re: rtlToronto11 Event Rules Posted

(...) At some point someone suggested making shirts that looked like a Town minifigure suit, but I'm gonna draw the line here and say anyone wearing a tie will not gain an extra point. :) Jeff, will you be bringing a bot to this one?   Re: Upgrading RCX 1.0

Thanks. I guess when you're Web site defines Life, The Universe and everything, I should expect to find the SDK because it's so improbable!   Re: rtlToronto11 Event Rules Posted

Excerpt from contest rules: "The winner recieves 2 points for the win, the loser, none. A tie gives each player a single point." Well *I'm* going to wear a tie. An extra point every round - how can I lose? Wait - is this some tricky way of (...) (22 years ago, 13-May-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Upgrading RCX 1.0

That is exactly what you can do. Lego has released a 2.0 SDK, which includes the 2.0 firmaware (firm0328.lgo), as well as lots of other stuff for programming. I can't find it on their web site, so you can (...) (22 years ago, 13-May-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Upgrading RCX 1.0

Thanks Callum. What we are doing is trying to get to 2.0 to use some features in NQC. Am I making this too complicated? Can we just download the 2.0 firmware and skip the 1.5 upgrade?   Re: MOC Monorail with MOC Monorail

(...) You could power the track by using 12v conductor rails. That would actually let you cheat a bit, the suspension wheels could ride in the track between the conductors. You would have to use the old style 12v pickups to get power from the track. (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.trains)
