Or maybe all of the above :) I had no idea we have the biggest wind turbine in North (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Pretty impressive coaster Iain.... Assuming constant acceleration (which it probably isn't), that works out to 24m/s/s, which is about 2.4g's.   new lego order

I just had to buy another bulk purchase of Lego. It was my biggest purchase from shop@home, yet.   Talk about Acceleration...

"Dodonpa" at Fujiku Highland (Fuji-Q) has been on the news a bit - it's set for it's December 21 opening. It's the world's fastest coaster, 172 km/h. And get this: It accelerates to that speed, via a pneumatic launch system, in *two* *seconds*. (...) (23 years ago, 4-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  TR: Pickering Nuclear's Vestas-80

I've always had an interest in wind turbines. I think the first time I knew I was interested in them was the first time I saw the movie ET.
