  Re: Tug of war ??

(...) (snip) (...) OK, I'm listening. What would you like to see? Dont mince words, Its not my style. What is it that you would like. (snip) (...) I am just at a loss. several people more eloquent than I have explained that for whatever reason(s) we (...) (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Tug of war ??

(...) Chris, Calum, David, James, Rob, rtl people, anyone else reading. I'm sorry I posted this. I apologize. I had some things I wanted to say, and I did a poor job of saying them. Maybe it was a bad day at work, or something. I don't know. At the (...) (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Tug of war ??

(...) ... (...) I'm going to try and keep this positive (as those who know me, know me as nothing but <smirk>). We did discuss further restrictions. The decision to go 10x10x10, rather than the usual 12x12x12, was made to partially get around the (...) (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Tug of war ??

(...) I feel this statement is a insult to RTL, and to the wider lego community. I really do. I have not ever taken part in a RTL event, but I have had some discussions with RTL members, I know RTL _is_ involved in "the wider community", beyond just (...)   Re: Tug of war ??

(...) Steve, I read this, and I'm sad to say it really rubbed me the wrong way. Steve, you and I go way back, heck YOU took the time to teach me bit masking; and for that I thank you. But the over all tone of your public text makes me feel like a (...) (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Maybe it's the country-polite guy in me....

(...) Speaking as an 'outsider', I don't see rtlToronto that way at all. I think if I were to drop in unannounced and unexpected with a 'bot for one of your events, I'd be welcomed with open arms and smiles and offers of Canadian beer. (No thanks on (...)   Re: Tug of war ??

(...) I apologize for the attempt to include you. I understand why you would suggest this is entirely my doing, and I don't have a problem with that. (...)   Maybe it's the country-polite guy in me....

But with all the animosity and yippiness in the world today, we shouldn't have to stir the pot--even a bit. Here's the thing--I'm not going to speak for any other member of rtlToronto except me (being an upstanding sitting-down type member of rtlT) (...)   Re: Tug of war ??

(...) Oh Steve, why do you have to drag us into this? Is it your selfordained role as "The Fresh New Face of Lego Mindstorms" that requires you to gush prolific on "building community"? Lego, despite attempts to make it otherwise, is not a virtual (...) (19 years ago, 22-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
