  Re: And then the Thank-Yous...

(...) Dave you were and are a big part of the show, so please don't be so modest. (...)   Re: [rtlToronto] The Hobby Show 2005

(...) I totally agree. I think Janey summed it up best when she said, "this type of show, just not necessarily in this venue." Or something like that. But the point is that I think there is a definite need for a gathering in this area be it a public (...) (19 years ago, 7-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] The Hobby Show 2005

(...) So that means I'm either not a "real" LEGO people, or I'm just dumb? Is that what you're saying? ;) (...)   Re: And then the Thank-Yous...

(...) Snipped all Dave's kind words, returns the thanks with a big hug and a pat on the bum (please note, I have Sandy's permission!). It's always a pleasure (dis)playing with you Dave, and I especially like it when you let me run with scissors. BTW (...) (19 years ago, 7-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] The Hobby Show 2005

(...) Well, I _personally_ don't care of no one likes rtlToronto, but I don't want to be accused of being unsupportive of anyone else. Ah screw it... Calum (19 years ago, 7-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  And then the Thank-Yous...

So for the guy supposedly 'in charge' I wasn't around much, so with much further ado, here's what I'll say-- Thanks-- Without Janey this show wouldn't have happened. At all. But she hates it when I talk about her in a fond and admiring way so I'll (...) (19 years ago, 7-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: [rtlToronto] The Hobby Show 2005

(...) Ya right... "real" lego people are way too smart to risk hanging with "us." Let it go Calum, just learn to accept that a chunk of the "community" don't like us.
