  Re: Oh Ya...

(...) Wouldn't be great if we had some place where the monthly dinner and event schedule was always kept? I would think it should be updated at least a week before each event. That would be good. We could even put up event rules and photos there (...) (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: What's Next... Re: Sorry I missed it

(...) I think we can do both. Traditionally we alternate between "hard" and "easier" games. The hard ones are usually in February or January. (well PX and C4 were). We can at the same time run another event like Balance of Power as a side, the way (...) (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Oh Ya...

... are we going to have the monthly dinner this Friday? If not, do people want to get together for dinner this Friday? Derek (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: What Lego sets use Jigs

(...) I think the 8421 crane does. There are some beams you put on the steering (to keep it straight) but take them off before you're done. Steve (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  What Lego sets use Jigs

I recently finished building the Death Star II set. In the set is a very simple jig is used to align the panels of the big dish. It consists of four green 2x2 plates that are attached around the edge of the dish. These provide spacing above a flat (...) (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

What's Next... Re: Sorry I missed it

(...) Personally, I'd love to see something like this. In addition to myself, I know of at least four other builders who would be willing to travel the 10+ hours for a "good" game. Of course, I'm not sure what really makes a good game... While (...) (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Sorry I missed it

I'm sorry I missed the contest. I looks like everyone had a great time. From the pictures I saw a lot of really cool designs with some wonderful strategies. The simple ring that locked on the pivot was genius. If I had been able to participate I was (...) (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Where do we go from here...

(...) Well I'm not sure. I'm hoping not to put too much effort into the train show. My area is more or less complete. I just want to add more details. By the way, what are the dates for the Train Show? Dave? If this is the case, it would be (...) (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca.on)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19 Balance of Power Photos Available

(...) Oh man, I just shot coke all over my screen. Thanks a lot Calum. I couldn't control my laughter, when I read your caption pertaining to Rob's use of old blue train rails. Nicely played.   [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19 Balance of Power Photos Available

Early on, Chris and I observed the most fun rtlToronto contests involve significant damage to Lego creations. Here's pictures from one of the most enjoyable rtlToronto games to date, rtlToronto19: Balance of Power. (URL) (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.events)

  Re: Technical help, Please.

You mention Bell - so that means Sympatico. Are you using their Access Manager software, or the thing built into XP (if you are using XP) for rPPPoE?   Re: Technical help, Please.

(...) Thanks Dave, I will try new drivers and see if that makes a difference, if not, maybe a new card is just what I need. Thanks for the advice. (19 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Technical help, Please.

(...) Okay, I totally buy that, this PC is a piece of garbage and frustrates me on the best of days. For the record, I was just repeating what the tech guy told me, I have no clue, but I'm sure they have standard lines just to end the call. I asked, (...)   Re: have you got the balls? - Re: Spybotic

So how does one go about getting a hold of your balls? It seems Chris is either out of balls or doesn’t like others borrowing his balls. I’ll gladly pay any shipping costs, after all those balls are quite heavy despite their tiny size. Ivan “Just (...) (19 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Dave last show, when we talked trains, I was going to reduce my grade by half, taking (iirc) 32 (or was it 38, too lazy to check currently) brick high grade, down to 16 (if my numbers are correct).   Train Show October

So now I'm putting my considerable attention and abilities on the upcoming trian show. Right now, Janey's 3 module section kinda dead ends onto nothing.
