Okay, here's cut number 1 of the Train2 layout. If there was ever a point to owning a Matrox G450 DualHead video card, train layouts would be it :) In fact, I have the layout on my right monitor, and Lugnet on the left... Thanks, guys. If you want, there is a brick paper template on Lego's site: www.lego.com/graph I found that my printout was actually slightly imperfect, but that might have been a printer setting, not sure.. I think 14 bricks would be safer.... although I just built a train wagon that was 15 high..... (I will be making it shorter) hopefully 13. Iain will let us know the exact height of his Elura/Flatbed combo, as that's likely the tallest non Lego creation, but I came to 13 as the 4552 Rail Crane needs a clearance of 13 bricks, and that's the (...) here's a question... what's the clearance we're striving for for our trains, i.e. if i want to build a bridge or walkway like Jeffs in the last show, what's the clearance you want so all your rolling stock can fit under it. just wondering... please (...)
