  Re: Automation Project Proposal

(...) You know me, I'm all for this kind of project. The marbles are interesting, but not nearly as cool as actually making something out of lego. This is pretty much an independant project though. I doubt there will ever be many people who are (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Primer

(...) See Iain, i do post! But just not too much in rtlT-Dot. People like Ben and I weren't accepted so we moved on. I still post though: (URL) i do keep-up on what's going on with the rtl group. It's good to be remembered! Thanx, --==Richard==-- (20 years ago, 9-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Lego Racers at CN Tower?

(...) I remember both the chrisps and the ride. (I was little, and the rides take-off kinda scared me cause it was so violent) Thanks for pointing this out! Both good memories. Thanx, --==Richard==-- (20 years ago, 9-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: steves balls

(...) HEY!!! I'll have you know we (read Richie) do very comprehensive stats in .loc.au, which must count for something! And about the draining water thing...... ........ ........ it depends which way i twirl it first LOL ROSCO (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Primer

(...) LOL well apparently, whoever wrote that was smoking pot (but not inhaling much) too, because I count FIVE consonants after the vowel... ROSCO (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: steves balls

(...) ( snip ) (...) uummmmmm Brian? its alomost as if your implying that there are "factions" in and around Lugnet that want to see RTL gone? US? Moi?   Re: steves balls

(...) And this is why we need folks like rtlToronto. I can not recall even *one* time, in weeks of discussion and probably close to 100 emails, that any of us *ever* hit upon the marginally tasteless implications of bunches of AFOLers trading balls. (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: steves balls

(...) See!!!! This is why Steve H is, in my mind, an honorary rtl'er! Forget the gerrymandering he always does withour rules and such, he's just such a cool frood who really can build robots (and sends me soccer balls in the mail to boot!) If I get (...)   Re: Primer

(...) Oh thanks, I have no idea what I was reading at 6 am, apparently I was just making up the words in my head. Giggle. Gee, I should have quit while I was still behind. Man now I feel like the poster child for proof that pot kills brain cells. (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Automation Project Proposal

I know everyone's gung ho on balls, but I'll bring this back to the table for a thought: A long time ago (over 3 years ago), I started a little project to see if I could build an automated assembly carousel / high speed assembly dial to build a (...)   Re: Primer

(...) Where the heck have you been?! Watch this, I bet you post just that one message, then don't post anything for like, 2 years. :) Iain (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Primer

(...) Not that I want to get nit picky on a topic that pretty much run it's course... But I will. :-) The table at the bottom of that page is a quiz, "strength" is the 4th question in the quiz. If you follow the answers link you will see that (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: steves balls

(...) I'm planning on sending David K. a package of soccer balls today. If all goes well, he should have them before dinner on Friday. Steve (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  steves balls

Calum, et al (core group(1)) anyone feel up to a mini-non-public ball game? not a "game" just a personal work-out-the-kinks kind-a thing? Chris to make it rtl-ish we'd use the black/white marbles (cause i have no... wait - let me rephrase) I do not (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Primer

(...) Well that's funny Ross, Because NO, no poetic licence was used with that post.. I took that bit of info from that (URL) here> (near the bottom) Which incidentally is also the same place I learned my word of the day (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: Primer

(...) Looks interesting! But is it still playing? And will I be able to find it on video? (URL) and I don’t care for the haiku-trip y’all are going on. But wtf, I’ll join in: kono dote-ni noboru-bekarazu keishichou --==Richard==-- (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Primer

(...) I guess that's more artistic license - I could have sworn it only had 1... But it DOES have 8 consonants and only 1 vowel, I guess there must be some merit in that. ROSCO (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Primer

(...) Apparently my poetry is too cryptic for some, so I will explain..... As you know, onomatopoeia is a word that imitates the sound it represents......... So my reference to "onomonopoetic"....I felt, granted me, the poetic licence to pronounce (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Primer

(...) babbling is two but with poetic licence I say it is three added syllable onomonopoetic makes it more complete yes it is a word I have employed it for years so it will be so Janey "Babbling within the confines Red Brick" (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Primer

(...) Ahhhhhhh! So once again my lack of artistic nouse becomes my downfall. ROSCO (20 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
