Re: Looking for a parking space in Hamilton.

(...) The problem with townhouses is that the driveways are sooo frickin tiny! But in the end, if there's nothing else, I have vistors parking across from my house and I'll park there for a week whilst leaving hte element in the driveway. Bottom (...)   Re: Newspaper article about the AFOL community

(...) Heh, I thought that was pretty funny too-- although if I'm not mistaken, I think that's what was actually intended: "Un véritable orgasme plastique, pour lequel les vrais fans du célèbre jeu de construction sont prêts à tout." "Une vraie orgie (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Is Black Hair Brunette?

(...) I've currently got 746 minifigs accounted for, up to another 150 unaccounted for. Given all the hats and helmets that still leaves a lot of hair. And compared to some I don't really have allot of minifigs. But that's not really the point as (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Is Black Hair Brunette?

(...) hmm... I have a Chris Mango drawer. It's clearly not the same, as you can see from the spelling. I use it to store broken pieces, (I can't throw away LEGO, even if they're broken) and other things that add nothing to the value of my LEGO (...)   Re: Is Black Hair Brunette?

(...) I dunno, I put all the hairs in the same container marked "Hairs". I also have a compartment for "Animals" which includes cats, parrots, snakes as well as a "Chris Magno" compartment with fire, guns, knives, TNT tiles, etc. Calum (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Newspaper article about the AFOL community

(...) An English translation (courtesy of Babblefish): (URL) Gotta love computer translation for making things humerous... I personally like "a[n] orgasme plastic" to describe the moment of completeing a sculpture...and "A true orgy of Lego!" -Rob (...)   Is Black Hair Brunette?

I'm sorting Lego (not really, but I figured I could say that to make this on topic) and I was wondering. Is Black hair considered Brunette or is it a separate category like red heads and blonds? Derek (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Looking for a parking space in Hamilton.

I'm hoping someone in the Hamilton area can lend me some parking space for and extended weekend in July. I'm going on a trip with my parents into the States. My parents live in London, and I live in Toronto. Ideally if we could meet in Hamilton it (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: The Day After...

(...) That brings up an interesting question. Has anyone ever made a Snoopy pilot MOC sized to fit in the Sopwith Camel model? (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: IKEA - GLIS -Update

To follow up on my GLIS storage containers, I made another trip out to IKEA this after noon and made a few more discoveries. -There is a translucent white version as well as the cyan-blue ones. Much better for Lego, because you can tell what colour (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: IKEA - GLIS

I picked the rougher STEN instead of IVAR shelving, but then mine lives in the basement. STEN worked well with Clearview storage bins, until Clearview changed all their sizes last year. (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.storage)

  The Day After...

I can't define it but I really like the Sopwith (3451). Maybe it has something to do with my favourite comic strip character, Snoopy, but I'm sitting here, looking at it, and I really like it. I don't really know what it is--what's that french (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  IKEA - GLIS

So I was at IKEA last night, just looking around. Wanted to get that extended shelf for my Jerker computer table. But it looks like my older black framed Jerker desk is incompatible with the newer silver framed ones. Sigh, but enough about companies (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
