LUG volume post (was robots, not trains)

(...) Ben, this is something I've noticed as well. I think its cool, that our little LUG (sorry Calum) is popular. and I'll even be be happy to say that i don't care if this lug is populated with posts about EITHER Trains or robots.   Re: robots, not trains

(...) Any RCX needs the run switch pressed. either by pressing the green button on the unit itself, OR by sending it the IR command for run.   Re: robots, not trains

(...) Well, couldn't you set up a program which watches the sensor port for a resistance value and when you flip the switch, have it trigger a subroutine? Have the RCX always running, but only starting your actions when you get the sensor condition. (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
