Rob, its funny that you should mention that....
Calum was surprised more people didn't show up at a certain past show...
(we already know....) considering that (he said) there were over 100 at
the robot competition versus only about 15 at the most for the other
show.
But we see the cruel irony...rtl 'Robotics' 8 is just over like a week
away...so I would think that there should be quite a few posts relating
to robotics...
and I am quite sure that there will be quite a bit of conversation
relating to the robotics after the 'competion', and it has something
to do with "secrecy" of the competion...try not to reveal too much about
your entrant...hmmm...i don't know.
Then again...I am not into robotics anyways...I'm more of a Townie than
anything else.
Just putting my two cents in...

Since the past event, though, rtlToronto has been in the top five newsgroups
...that should be noteworthy, even if most of the postings have been about
you know what....
....oh and the irony, as I was starting to say, is that even though lots
of people attend the robotics show....I guess fewer people like to post
on Lugnet...and a few people with some "you know whats" and they (myself
included) end up swamping our newsgroup with related postings.

I think its cool, that our little LUG (sorry Calum) is popular. and I'll even be be happy to say that i don't care if this lug is populated with posts about EITHER Trains or robots. HECK, if there (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
