RE: Ahem, onwards to rtl16, thank you

Iain, I sense deep frustration in this post. (...) Why not call them a WAAAAmbulace. Or get them some (cheese or cork) to go with that whine. (...) You would have LOVED to see the machine my Dad and this other German toolmaker designed. It took in (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Well, I'm pretty sure it would have looked better in your sig file, if Kevin's code had actually won the game. Steve 1st place - rtl 15 (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Logic Only - Early results (the polls are still open)

(...) you had to run this through a small army of friends and lawyers, so that I would have a hard time putting it in my sig file. Chris There's no 'I' in 'team'. There's four in 'platitude-quoting idiot'. (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Ahem, onwards to rtl16, thank you

(...) At least with LEGO, you just add another RCX if you run out of ports. It's not like you have to fight with Electrical to drop in another I/O card. "WAAA, then we can't use a standard panel, WAAAAA." "Where will I put the brake resistors then? (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Logic Only - Early results (the polls are still open)

(...) To make a short story, long... I'm willing to bet Kevin's code will win the second game. That's actually kind of a risky bet, seeing he DIDN'T win the first game. Turns out, if Chris had been able to build a working robot, he may have tied (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Logic Only - Early results (the polls are still open)

(...) That's true. My robot really sucked when it wasn't plugged into AC. For some reason, the rotation sensors count TOTALLY different on batteries. I had that same problem a couple times, after I moved my robot, and forgot to plug it in. I also (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) My software's not set-up to do that. :) At one point, your software seemed to be taking a long time to move, and it seemed to stop beeping, after it was out of the opening book, so I couldn't tell if it was actually making moves (or even if it (...)
