Just got in from the show. The layout was fantastic! Absolutely amazing. Clearly the hit of the show. Great job to all who contributed. I wish my creations were so creative and well-build. this saturday & sunday, oct 16, 17, parlugment participates in its second local train show. (URL) building all summer & into the fall, i've completed some mocs for the show. among them are an 18-hole mini-putt golf course, inspired by my 12-yr-old (...) Hello, The Ottawa LEGO club ParLUGment is pleased to announce our second train layout showing in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. On October 16th and 17th, we will be displaying a 25' x 16' LEGO Train layout at Railfair 27. This is double the size of last (...) Stuff I want to see: Better variety of Transparent Fluro Orange and especially Transparent Dark Blue elements. More parts similar to the 1 x 1 with studs on all sides. Awesome. That's the only word I can use to describe last weekend. Brickfest 2004 was the first LEGO festival of any sort I've attended but let me tell you it will not be my last! (...) We just got feedback from the organizer of Railfair Ottawa, and he says that the attendance was between 2500-3000 with 20-25% being children. Well, if they made it in an 18 slope even though there's only one other basic compatible piece (I know there's also a triple-wedge, but...), there's always a chance that they might make it in 33 and 45 degree versions someday. (...) Close, but not quite. I just got the Summer S@H catalog today, and the black faceted slopes used on that mech's waist are 18 degree slopes, but #22a has the proportions of a 33 degree slope.
