  Re: TRAIN 2 was awesome!!!!

Hi guys, I also have to add that I had an awesome time at train2. The layout was very impressive, however I think Ottawa will need more real estate next time... Perhaps I will have to look at building a module now that I know what to expect. Your (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.monlug)

  My 101 train2 pictures

Here are my 101 pictures taken from train2. First we begin with a few of my place to show the chaos that I left behind. The mess is my living room which I still have to clean up. Then we see Tim's full car packed for the trip and we were off. :-) (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.monlug)

  Re: TRAIN 2 was awesome!!!!

(...) I enjoyed building the mountain, and I'm glad you liked it. But I think I better call it a 'hill' compared to Jeff's mountain. That was just awesome. I am just in awe of that piece of art. We're not worthy! We're not worthy! (...) Yeah us! (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.monlug)

  Finally...

Well, I finished my mountain around 1:30am. Then I had to pack everything up. Had to take a couple breaks to look after my crying son. But I'm finally ready for Train2. It's after 3am already, so I hope Jude knows how to drive standard. <grin> Play (...) (23 years ago, 11-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

(...) Hi Tim, I am interested. Please bring one or two for me. I might want just the motors, since I have little use for z-nap. Rob (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.monlug)

(...) Well, bring the monorail if you can. It would be cool if you could.   ZNAP sets

Is there anybody interested in any of the 3571 Blackmobile with Motor? I imagine many have already got what they needed from clearances, but I am bringing some for Ben, and wondered if anyone else was interested? I figured I'd ask $17 per box. (...)   Re: Passing wires at train2

Like the others said, under is better. Unless you're going for the hydro wire look. <grin> But yes, there are cutouts to fit the wires under the track. And a lot of the track, namely corners and switches, will just be sitting on top of the (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Passing wires at train2

What do you think is the best way to pass wires that need to cross the track? Over or under the track? If over how much height clearance do I need? Jude ParLUGment #1 (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
