Like the others said, under is better.
Unless you're going for the hydro wire look. <grin>
But yes, there are cutouts to fit the wires under the track.
And a lot of the track, namely corners and switches, will just be sitting on
top of the baseplates anyways, because the studs won't mate.
Do you have enough long wire to reach where-ever it is you're running the
wires to? I have some I could bring.
Man, I have got to get to work though. I am not even close to being ready.
