  Re: SuperTrain 2001 - I'll be there

(...) Don't feel obligated - and don't do it unless you want to. LEGO is our hobby - not a work commitment. I'm willing to handle it by myself. (...) Actually the tables wouldn't be required, as they have them there for only $8 each. They require (...) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.trains.org)

(...) Grr. Well, the work-drive-setup-dis...drive-work cycle doesn't appeal to me, not with only 1 or 2 other people to share the load, but.... I'm in. Grr. No guarantees about not going postal after the show, though. I'll take the van down, which (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.trains.org)

  SuperTrain 2001 - I'll be there

(...) Well the deadline (to commit) is tomorrow, and with it being the largest model train show in Canada, if felt strongly enough that there should be a LEGO presence there that I have committed myself to attending and putting on a display on my (...)   SuperTrain 2001 (was Re: Latest Larger Layout)

Well I heard back from the main guy organizing SuperTrain 2001 and from Darryl at the same time. It turns out Darryl doesn't actually live in Calgary like we/I thought, but 2.5 hours south. (Lethbridge?) Hence he can't commit to attending either, (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

McLellan's going down. Right Kevin? 8-) (URL) was nice to get a good look at James' castle, and the local Zellers lost a good chunk of its 2001 LEGO, but we also discovered an easy way to liven things up if ever needed. ;-) In all the excitement (...)   Re: 60% off Sith&Pod

Update - I dropped by the south Superstore on the way home last night. There were no "TIE+Y+Snow"s, but there were thirteen "Sith&Pods"s. The Sith&Pods were priced @ $23.73 each drawn in hand that the 25% off was already applied... :-( I asked the (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

SRC wrote in message ... (...) Canadian Superstore here has those Tie/Y+Snowspeeder packs for less than Zellers (about $42) and they have 25% off all Lego this week. (...) I would be up for that.   60% off Sith&Pod

According to the flyer I have infront of me, TRU has the "Sith&PodPack" <set:7131>&<set:7151> for US$17 (after tax) which is better than 60% off the "grey slope parts pack" That last draft was fun - who wants to have a Draft2000 Ver.2 at James' on (...)   Pneumatic Parts! (was Re: Split of 5218 (was Re: Lego US S@H))

Well, just like my beloved <set:5235>, the various pneumatic parts (5099, 5107, 5108, 5109, 5116, 5117) are no longer available. In addition, the air tank has never - AFAIK - been available separately. Until now... :-) Unless someone else steps up (...)   Re: Latest Larger Layout

Hello James, I agree that building space is a bit scarce, if Chris agrees, we could always cut out some sidings. I'll let you two fight it out!
