  Re: kids at train show

I will definitely keep this information on hand. At the PNLTC show I went to, this play area was VERY popular. I hope we could incorporate something like this in the future, but it takes up a lot of space. Michel (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: Fall 2000 Draft

(...) Well, due to the shipping/handling/exchange making it about normal price, I just pulled one of my 6582s from my collection to give to Kai. However, eToys still has lots of 1/2 price Star Wars sets, and that 7151 Sith is a great parts pack. (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: Fall 2000 Draft

(...) Are you the only LUGr in Calgary (and area?) You'd think there'd be about as many AFOLs there as here. As for the use of the list instead of the newsgroup, there seems to be two schools of thought. Some here like to keep communication within (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: Fall 2000 Draft

(...) I would be interested in a draft for several 6462's. I just noticed that there are a bunch of good parts there. I not as interested in the 3053, but if there is a large draft for this (6 or more sets), I'll join in. Generally, sets that would (...) (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: Fall 2000 Draft

Yes, I'm in Calgary. I'd love to be put on that list. I guess that explains why this group seems to be quiet a lot of the time. Adam (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: Fall 2000 Draft

(...) A valid point. I checked the three main sale offerers (is that a word?) eToys ships to Canada, but ZanyBrainy and K+B Kids are USA only... (...) Another good point - I concur IF everyone is on a the list - Is that the case? Anyone else (...) (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: Mailboxes vs. safes

(...) The chest-lids (and bottoms) of the Belville Sets are the same as the Fabuland ones, only different colors. Also the mailbox top is similar to those chest-lids, only a shorter version (4x4 vs. 6x4). The mailbox bottom is also similar, but (...)   Fall 2000 Draft

(...) It occurred to me today that 50% off specials are not limited to S@H, and the same "get lots to minimize shipping cost" principal would apply. A LUGr has setup a page that lists all know internet sales, (not including S@H) and there are a LOT (...) (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: Mailboxes vs. safes

(...) Cool. I noticed the top looked similar to various chest-lids (like in the recent Belville Castle sets and (I think) Adventurers). But I don't have the Fabuland piece to check if it's the same, or just similar. (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.fabuland)

AFOL Matchmaking (was Re: Is this anyone we know??)

(...) On the heels of Tom and Suz's LEGOLand wedding, this is - on the surface anyways - a great idea. The problem is male AFOLs probably outnumber female AFOLs about ten to one.
