Not necessarily. If TLG and the store selling something agree that it won't sell at the RRP (full list price I believe) sometimes they put together a deal on the kit or kits that marks a certain amount off the affected kits. In which case, they (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

3409 had a recommended retail price of $59.95 inclusive of 22% wholesale sales tax. If you remove the 22% tax then add on the 10% tax, surely we can expect a 10% reduction in price or at least that's what the ACCC is telling us to expect. TLG must (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Hey Jamie, I negotiated once with a person, I swapped the PHANTOM MENACE before I came out (got it at sanity) and I got in trade 1x TIE-Fighter and Y-wing and 1x Gungan Sub for the trade. While 2909 looks like the most interesting of the new Action Wheelers to me, it also appears rather specialised, i.e. you can build a helicopter or a ... helicopter? I've only seen (...) Yeah I saw this one last night, I was really impressed with the price on this set. Thought that it was really cheap for the piece count. I've just returned from Target in Box-Hill where I saw the first of the Action wheelers. From what I saw, the sets appear compatible with toolo, so for those who have toolo, these will provide more colour and parts to your collection. One other (...)
