3409 had a recommended retail price of $59.95 inclusive of 22% wholesale sales
tax. If you remove the 22% tax then add on the 10% tax, surely we can expect a
10% reduction in price or at least that's what the ACCC is telling us to
expect.
TLG must be offering the set for 12% less than it was available for prior to
the 1st July.

| Not necessarily. If TLG and the store selling something agree that it won't sell at the RRP (full list price I believe) sometimes they put together a deal on the kit or kits that marks a certain amount off the affected kits. In which case, they (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)
