Re: Looking for some Ninja Sets

Hi Jamie, Just got back from the supermarket and sorry to say that the 6083 has gone. Yet another one that has sat there for months until I pointed it out here on lugnet and then it suddenly vanishes. Mightily coincidental? I reckon there's another (...)   Re: Toolo 2 [action wheelers] available in Aus

Yeah I saw this one last night, I was really impressed with the price on this set. Thought that it was really cheap for the piece count. Some of the components were fantastic, although I would worry about the "chromed" pieces, experience has not (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.general)

(...) what (...) stuff. I'm sort of new to this, so I'm not 100% sure what you mean by which boards: as in, sections like Reviews, Marketplace, etc? If so, more than I can think of off the top of my head. However: reviews, marketplace: he eBay's a (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Some Space kits for sale

Hi All I posted the following kits for sale on Lugnet US the other night. A bird wispered to me that I should post it here in Australia as well so here goes. The following kits are for sale/trade as is described. 6812 Blacktron (Bagged/instructions (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

(...) Truly? Which boards? I'm not surprised - he appears to really know his stuff. I've often thought about doing the kinds of things you suggested, as I can understand why he does it they way he does, but you know how it is - not enough hours in (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Toolo 2 [action wheelers] available in Aus

I've just returned from Target in Box-Hill where I saw the first of the Action wheelers. From what I saw, the sets appear compatible with toolo, so for those who have toolo, these will provide more colour and parts to your collection. One other (...) (...) Yes, he's great. I've bought from him multiple times (and now he offers discounts for repeat customers, whohoo!). It is funny to hear him called 'a guy on eBay' though, since he's a fairly active on Lugnet! Anyway, I know what you mean; (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Re: When rare pieces become common!

I know what you mean. There is a guy on ebay named Kevin Wilson, who looks like a great international trader, with some really good parts, but always in huge lots - 50 cups, 20 spanners, you know the kind of thing. I'd love to bid on something of (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Next meeting Venue

(...) The prices were per hour regardless of the number of people (as long as the venue's capacity isn't exceeded). So I'd guess that it's in our interest to get more people along to reduce the costs, confirmed attendances anyhow. Lets play (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd, lugnet.org.au)

I'm guessing these prices are per head? Maybe this brings us back to where Peter and I seem to be, which is that his or my place might be sensible, in terms of space, parking, facilities etc. re (URL) (and replies) Peter and I are content to take it (...)   When rare pieces become common!

Hi Everyone, I just got an email from ebay saying I won an auction lot of 300 grey taps. About 2 years ago, I bought a 5590 Whirl n Wheel from a guy in the UK and when it arrived and I built it, I found it was missing two of these grey taps. I (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Brace yourselves, my guess at the cost was off by heaps. There are meeting rooms inside Parramatta Town Hall with tables/chairs that are for 20/30 people size, the rates are $13 during the week and $17 weekends. Parramatta Town Hall is not ideal (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)
