I'm pleased to announce that Compaq has made a "Software
Developer's Kit" available for the PJB-100. It's a response to
numerous queries and questions about how the PJB works and most
specifically, when Linux support will be available.

In the true spirit of the Open Source world, this kit doesn't
contain a Linux Jukebox Manager, but it does contain what you'll
need to get started and write your own.

There is a USB protocol specification, file system specification,
a "library" of "C" routines to implement the communications
protocol, and a device driver for Linux.
