I've actually sorted it now. I got a little excited and forgot to use the bin switch when I uploaded (yes I still use DOS prompt FTP). Thanks for you help. Scott A (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: Why are my fonts broken?

(...) Aw, never mind. 4.7 was a snap to install. Didn't even blow anything up. :) Seems to run a bit faster than 4.61, that's good. Maybe it won't have the same bogus memory consumption...we'll see. But it looks like 4.7 has the same problem with (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) BTW, are you running 4.6x or 4.7x? I'm seeing the problem in 4.61. Have 4.7 downloaded but am hesitant to install it so quickly. --Todd (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Anyone here into DVDs?

(...) Oh, I don't think I'm quite up to 100 yet. Maybe 75 or so. But I've only had my player for about 9 months, I think. Never bought a single DVD locally as far as I can remember. (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) Keeping it down to $8 on average takes a good amount of work, but you can keep it between $13-$17 with no effort at all online. Here's my good deals site.   Re: Anyone here into DVDs?

(...) $8 dollars a disc? How? Where? And to think I've already bought 100+ DVD's (I've had a player for at least two or three years now) usually at only slighly below retail at COSTCo. (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Anyone here into DVDs?

(...) At my prices? You mean an average of around $8 per disc? Or do you mean US retail or near-retail sale prices - quite a bit more? :) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) I doubt that future OS's will be case-sensitive. If anything, I expect future OS's to be case-INsensitive.
