(...) The thing that always killed me about those anime-lite series like BotP, Speed Racer, Marine Boy, Star Blazers, et al was the choppy, choppy, choppy animation style. (...) Sure the plots were pretty dire, but the characters were great, particularly Shaggy and Scooby! I can't remember any episodes but I liked these guys.
