Right. This is, I think the crux of the disagreement. I think paying
whatever a metroliner is 'worth' these days for one is foolish...sort
of. It would be foolish for me because I'd rather have $300 (or
whatever) worth of other stuff. For someone who does choose to buy one,
they'd rather have that than a different $300 assortment.
If we all agree that someone would be paying $6.75 + let's say $3.20 for
postage to get it a day or two earlier than they might otherwise be able
to. Also, saying that's foolish is the equivalent of saying that paying
9.95 for overnight mail (which would be cheap) is also foolish...which
it isn't in some cases. What a buyer wants to give it for a birthday
gift and needs it two days earlier? $6.75 is peanuts to pull that off,
when the recipient thougt is was impossible. This is just one example
of how it mightn't be a foolish trade of cash for speed.
