That is such a simple and elegant solution to the whole debate. I was really
hoping Kerry (or somebody!) would voice this opinion--its such a simple,
easy-to-make-sense-of position, compared to his (and others) I am against
letting gay people marry, but gay people should have all the same rights as
non-gays, which I think comes off sounding like much too nuanced of a position,
if not a flat contradiction.
