Thanks for the replies.  I am really interested in what people have to say
about this issue, but at the same time I am really NOT offended that
Christopher has done nothing at this point.  It is merely that his having
done nothing allows me to pose the question in a very particular way --
that's all.  It'a all abstract -- I swear!

The question is asked purely rhetorically.  I have no emotional involvement
in this scenario at all.  If Christopher asked for more, I'd give him more
without hesitation.
