Yes yes.
But my point is merely that if one has a bid withdrawn from one's auction,
factoring out all else such as that it would be nice if the clueless bidder
mailed you rather than withdrawing, better that it be early rather than late.
When it's early, there is more time to recover.
Sorry if that rather simple point is eluding you or that you're not willing to
acknowledge it.
