If it makes you feel any better, I can tell you what PROBABLY happened to
your box, as it would be quite a common occurance, especially for anyone
that ships in volume.
I'd imagine that at the same time you opened your box and were disappointed
by the "dolls" that the person who was expecting those dolls was looking at
a box of 10 Outback Airstrip sets and was just as confused as you. Although
I've not done this with my lego auctions, when I used to work in a shipping
department this was a common occurance.
And the week they told you to wait would actually be sufficient time for
them to get the package back from the other person and reship it to you.
Assuming of course, that they don't hold onto the package like you plan on
doing! (I'm sure that they are waiting for those dolls just like you are
waiting for your lego!)
I'm not saying that you should send them back though. It would be nice if
they would just tell you the truth about what happened. It goes alot
smoother and quicker, especially when you can get the people with the wrong
packages to just ship them to each other. (this can be done at no expense
to either person using the company's UPS number and third party billing).
